Meet Dr. Shahrokhi
Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Shahrokhi studied architecture. After graduating from architecture school, she came to appreciate the parallels of symmetry and unique beauty that exist between buildings in architecture and the mouth and face in dentistry. Dentistry also aligned better with her caring personality and desire to impact lives more meaningfully. Dr. Shahrokhi decided to pursue a career in dentistry and studied at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Shahrokhi is passionate about delivering quality care to her patients, making sure they know they can feel at home when at her office, and trusting that any advice she gives is the same advice she would give to her own family. She stays up to date on the newest technologies. She attends numerous continuing education courses to ensure she delivers the highest level of care to her patients.
In her spare time, Dr. Shahrokhi enjoys gardening, spending time with her husband, and trying to keep up with her two puppies- Bella and Phoebe!

Meet Dr. Jalalian
Dr. Bahar Jalalian, DMD, is a distinguished dentist known for her passion for dental care and her dedication to her patients’ oral health. Born and raised in Suwanee, GA, Dr. Bahar’s journey to prominence in dentistry is marked by academic excellence and a commitment to service.
From her formative years at the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology, where she excelled academically, to her time at Emory University, Dr. Bahar has always been driven by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to make a positive impact. At Emory, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature, demonstrating her multifaceted interests and her ability to excel in diverse fields.
As a first-generation college graduate, Dr. Bahar’s achievements were recognized with prestigious scholarships, including the National Coca-Cola Scholarship, the QuestBridge Scholarship, and the Emory Scholarship, underscoring her exceptional academic prowess and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Driven by her passion for helping others and improving access to care, Dr. Bahar pursued her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at The Dental College of Georgia, graduating in 2022. Following dental school, she served rural communities in Fitzgerald and Eastman, GA, providing comprehensive dental care in underserved settings. During this time, Dr. Bahar completed advanced training in implant dentistry and dental sedation, further expanding her clinical scope and surgical capabilities. She will be bringing these enhanced surgical skills—including implant placement, surgical extractions, and sedation-based treatment—to her practice at Rivermont Dental Care in the metro Atlanta community, where she continues to elevate the standard of patient-centered care.
Today, Dr. Bahar continues to uphold her commitment to excellence as a valued member of Rivermont Dental Care, where she practices alongside Dr. Shima Shahrokhi. With expertise in general and advanced dentistry, including clear aligner therapy, surgical extractions, implant dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Bahar is dedicated to helping her patients achieve optimal oral health and confident smiles. Her commitment to staying at the forefront of dental advancements is reflected through her active involvement in professional organizations such as the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Bahar enjoys spending quality time with her fiancé Ryan, engaging in weightlifting to stay active and healthy, and indulging her love for literature through her book club. Her multifaceted interests and genuine care for her patients make Dr. Bahar Jalalian a trusted healthcare provider and a valued member of the metro Atlanta dental community.
